Do you want a green building that will conserve natural resources, reduce energy use and improve indoor air quality? Extreme SIPs are produced from products that are made from recycled content to help preserve our natural resources. Extreme Panel SIPs provide a level of strength and simplicity that no other building method can match. All Extreme Panel SIPs are pre-cut and pre-manufactured to ensure that when they get to the job site, there is no guess work.

Basic Installation Procedure:

Always begin at a corner. Place the first panel over the bottom plate and flush to the exterior of the building. While holding the panel approximately plumb, in and out on the face, plumb the outside panel exactly vertical and nail off both sides. It will stand up easily by itself at this time. After placing the proper sealant on the seams, situate the panel on the other side of the corner over its bottom plate, tight up against the first panel, and nail off. At this time, the two panels are not attached to each other. Align and attach the panels at the corner. One panel will run long and the other panel will butt up against the previous one. The panels are then attached with Big SIPs Screws through the longer panel (just inside the dimensional lumber placed in the corner) and into the dimensional lumber in the second panel. The Big SIPs screws are placed approximately 3" from the top and bottom of the wall and then at a maximum of 2 ft on center, or per the engineered detail drawings for that particular job.
