ABOUT THE SUMMIT
Extreme Builders Summit
Join builders, architects, designers, and industry leaders from across North America for the Extreme Builders Summit 2027, a two-day educational event centered around one of the most anticipated high-performance homes in the country.
This year, we’re excited to welcome Steve Baczek of The Build Show as our keynote speaker. A nationally recognized architect and building science expert, Steve will bring his practical, performance-driven approach to the Summit, sharing insights and strategies for designing and building better homes.
At the heart of this year’s Summit is the 2027 Idea House, a one-of-a-kind demonstration home located just minutes from the Extreme Panel Technologies headquarters in Cottonwood, Minnesota. More than a showcase, the Idea House is a living example of high-performance construction, bringing innovative products, integrated building systems, and proven building science together in one extraordinary home.
The Idea House Experience will give attendees an exclusive guided walkthrough of the completed home, with the opportunity to see leading building products and systems in real-world application while learning directly from the builders, manufacturers, and industry experts who helped bring the project to life.
Whether you’re exploring SIP construction for the first time or looking to stay at the forefront of high-performance building, the Extreme Builders Summit offers practical education, valuable industry connections, and real-world solutions you can put to work on your next project.
The Idea House Experience
MORE THAN A SHOWCASE. A LASTING DESTINATION.
Located just minutes from Extreme Panel Technologies headquarters in Cottonwood, Minnesota, the completed 2027 Idea House gives builders a firsthand look at what’s possible with high-performance construction. As the centerpiece of the 2027 Extreme Builders Summit, the home offers an opportunity to walk through a completed SIPs project, see innovative building products in real-world applications, and connect directly with the experts behind them. Beyond the Summit, the Idea House will serve as a year-round destination for builder tours, hands-on product demonstrations, educational events, and an up-close look at smarter, more efficient ways to build.
